Coach Randy Mast will never forget his 100th career victory as New Buffalo's girls varsity basketball coach. His Lady Bison limited host Watervliet to just one basket in a 45-2 Red Arrow Conference win on 10/18/01.

That's not a typo, folks! Watervliet's two points is believed to be the lowest output ever by an area girls varsity team.

The Lady Bison dropped the conference championship to Lake Michigan Catholic on 10/30/01. But did beat Bridgman in the season's final "regular" game.

Besides hosting the first round of Class D Girls Basketball tournament play, the Lady Bison took their game with a fantastic showing as they ripped Howardsville Christian 65-26 behind 20 points from Karla Mast.

Junior Karla Mast was selected honorable mention to the All-State Class "D" Team for 2001.
