This is one of those "good news – bad news" stories. Roger's record fell, but it was Roger's son Adam doing it. Adam finished regular season play on the field with a 1420 yards rushing. And in the final regular season game, he rushed for a single-game school record 307 yards and five touchdowns.

Unfortunately, the Bison were eliminated from playoff action by Covert (Friday -10/26/01).
