2002 – Out with the old...in with the new!

Demolition began on the old school. The shop, band room and Slater gym were the first to meet the wrecking ball. Followed by the elementary wing (shown here) and the newer wing of the High School that housed the science labs, Home Ec and typing areas (above the cafeteria).

According to the new owners, the main building will remain standing and converted to condos. The adjoining real estate will have cottages and a recreation area. The name of the project is Summer School Cottages & Schoolhouse Lofts.
